Leadership
Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your
care, serving as overseers not because you must, but because you are
willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to
serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being
examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will
receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
(1 Peter 5:2-4)

Membership
But now indeed
there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to
the hand, I have no need of you; nor again the head to the feet, I have
no need of you....... the members should have the same care for one
another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or
if one member is honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second
prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings,
helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. (1 Corinthians 12:20-28)
