From Cinema to Church

History in Pictures
Frontline Bible Church was founded in 1989, and began as Frontline Christian Fellowship in the Y.M.C.A. Bridgend. John and Joan Marshall were called to the pastorate in 2001 and the following year the church moved to its present location in Aberkenfig.

The Old Lyric Cinema was purchased and work began on renovating the building. As the work began, a questionnaire was taken around the village to find out what facilities the local people wanted most. Three requests were immediately obvious: a cafe, a youth club and a children's club. The cafe opened first, then the youth club followed by the children's club.

The following is a pictorial history of the renovation of the building.
